Yarn Find

I went to my LYS, The Technicolor Sheep to see the new store and found that I had to buy Mason Dixon Knitting. I alos found some really pretty wool in the clearence bin. It is called Lana D'Oro by Cascade Yarn. It is 50% Superfine Alpaca/50% wool. I thought I would make a striped felted bag of some sort for the winter.

Knitting in Public and a Yarn Crawl!

I am so exctied I get to Knit in Public with my SnB group on Saturday at Wegmans.
Then we may go to a store that is closing called Yarn on the Farm.
I can go because my husband is taking my son to the movies . . . yeh!

New sock yarn and a finished pair

This is pair number 6 finshed.
They are made out of an OnLine cotton blend.

This is opal cotton that a bought off of my friend Cindy.

This yarn is softer than any cotton yarn I have used thus far.
